Its foundation was granted in 1971, although after the agreement for the transfer of powers it depends directly on the Provincial Delegation of Culture. It was inaugurated on September 23, 1983.  <\/p>\n<p>The Castillo de la Yedra was acquired for the latter, with the intervention works lasting several years and continuing even at its inauguration, although the keep was set up for its exhibition.<\/p>\n<p>The castle, home to the museum, is the most significant architectural monument in Cazorla. This monument, known since the seventeenth century as the Yedra Castle, is also called &#8220;Castle of the Four Corners&#8221;, a name that comes from the floor plan of the main tower, which is square, as its angles in turn face the four cardinal points. <\/p>\n<p>The castle is made up of three main enclosures, although there are also remains of a barbican, walls and other defensive elements outside the current enclosure.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":10277,"template":"","categories":[127,173,172,175,174],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-10272","puntos-de-interes","type-puntos-de-interes","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-cazorla","category-interpretation-centres","category-museums","category-points-of-interest","category-theme-centers","entry","has-media"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/sierracazorlaturismo.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/puntos-de-interes\/10272","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/sierracazorlaturismo.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/puntos-de-interes"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/sierracazorlaturismo.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/puntos-de-interes"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/sierracazorlaturismo.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/puntos-de-interes\/10272\/revisions"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/sierracazorlaturismo.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/10277"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/sierracazorlaturismo.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=10272"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/sierracazorlaturismo.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories?post=10272"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/sierracazorlaturismo.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tags?post=10272"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
