Throughout the 16th to 19th centuries, it was home to several illustrious families of Cazorla, including the Angulo, Godoy, Torres Godoy, Vela de Almaz\u00e1n, Calder\u00f3n and G\u00f3mez families, and today belongs to the Tamayo family.
