On the way we will contemplate landscapes of olive trees and large masses of holm oak, with gall oak being the one that predominates due to the humidity and large masses of holm oak grove, being the gall oak the one that predominates due to the humidity in the area. In the Port of Tíscar two massifs meet, the Sierra de Quesada and the Sierra del Pozo, a few kilometres away the Sanctuary of Tíscar, La Cueva del Agua, Pozo Alcón and the Embalse de la Bolera delimit an area of the Natural Park of great landscape and human richness.

Once we have reached the end of the Puerto de Tíscar, after having enjoyed the landscape that surrounds us (including the Baza-Guadix depression in the province of Granada), we will start the descent towards Tíscar, and in just 600 m take the detour to the left.

A forest track begins here in the direction of Pico del Rayal (1835 m.), however our path will continue, leaving the main track by the first deviation to the left, just 800 m (10.4 km from the start). We will ascend to some cliffs where a chain prevents the passage of motor vehicles, bypassing this, we will continue to descend sharply through sharp curves to the Barranco del Garbanzal that overlooks the olive trees and orchards of Quesada.

Before the ruins of the Garbanzal Forest House, which we will find 11.6 km from the beginning, we will have passed a small fountain and a detour to the left. Between Aleppo pine forests, broom and rosemary scrub and impressive limestone cliffs and cliffs, we will cross the Extremera River (12.8 km from the start), to immediately begin a hard ascent of almost 2 km in which we will leave two detours to the left.

After flattening and taking a breather, the path of vegetation indicates the presence of the Arrollo de la Cueva de Jaén, an area of great humidity where yews, boxwoods, junipers and black pines will accompany us. In just 1 km we will cross the stream and continue ascending to cross the Bejar River 19 km from the beginning.

A last effort will take us to the Zamora pass (20 km from the beginning), where we will find a chain and a little further on we will come out on the main track. It will be to the left of our path to reach Quesada; the right would take us to the Source of the Guadalquivir (7 km from this point).

Our path continues to the left descending for 5 km to the place called El Chorro, 25 km from the start. To finish our route we will have to go back 1.5 km along the path we have brought and take the first detour to the right. From here, passing by the House and Forest Control of the Seven Fountains, we will descend for 10 km until we reach the asphalt road that will leave us on the left in Quesada, the end of our route.
