Within the network of ornithological trails of the Sierra de Cazorla, there is number 8 of CHILLAR, in Hinojares. The route begins preferably in an off-road vehicle, from the Plaza de la Constituci\u00f3n in the same town, taking the A-315 road towards Huesa and we leave this 2 km later, when we see a sign that indicates “Chillar”. Here we find an illustrative panel of the most common birds on the route. <\/p>\n
After this brief introduction, we can start on foot or continue by car until the next fork on the right, where we find another panel. Here it is advisable to start walking to enjoy the trail and its resources, although we have done it by car due to lack of time. After a relatively flat path, with slight slopes, we reach the last part just when we see the Guadiana Menor River, where the steepest slope of the route begins. <\/p>\n
When we reach the riverbank, there are two ledges that we will use as small viewpoints. The return is made through the same place, and we recommend making a stop before reaching the car, next to the sheep pen of our friend Lucas, where we can see a large number of birds. <\/p>\n
This trail can be done at any time of the year, although in summer it is advisable to avoid it, or at least in the strong hours of heat due to the absence of shade and trees.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
